# How do I reassign a returned MARC to a new recipient?

If you received MARCs back from a direct-shipped campaign, you can easily reassign them to new recipients by updating your Roster.

### Step 1: Ask us to unlock your Shipping tab

For direct-shipped orders, the Shipping tab is typically locked after fulfillment.  
Email us and we’ll quickly unlock it for you.

### Step 2: Update the recipient information

In the **Shipping tab**, locate the row of the returned MARC and replace the previous recipient’s information with the new one.

Update the following columns as needed:

- **Name**
- **Group** (if applicable)
- **CRM ID** (if applicable)
- **Date Sent** → Enter today’s date

Entering today’s date will filter out any previous engagement activity for that MARC and ensure clean reporting moving forward.

### Important Note

Updating the roster does **not delete raw data**. It simply adjusts how activity appears in your reporting dashboard.

Once updated, changes will reflect in the dashboard within approximately one hour.
