# Are MARC video brochures safe and compliant to ship by air given the lithium battery?

Yes. MARC video brochures contain a small lithium-ion battery (3.7V, 1500mAh / 5.55Wh) that is fully compliant for air transport.

All batteries used in MARC video brochures have successfully passed **UN 38.3 testing**, which is the international safety standard required for shipping lithium batteries by air.

Each unit is shipped with the battery installed inside the device, individually packed to prevent short-circuiting or damage, and transported at a safe state of charge in accordance with **IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations**.

Our shipments are handled by approved carriers such as UPS and DHL, who routinely transport lithium-battery-powered electronic devices worldwide.

Upon request, we can also provide official **UN 38.3 certification documentation**.
